We created a new digital experience for Luxe Interiors + Design. Leveraging the high-end luxury catalog of photos the brand is known for, we created a minimal and easily navigatable interface to really let the content speak. Our website won 7 awards including the silver w3 Award for Lifestyle. I worked primarily on visual design, showing various interactive states, and wireframing the search portal.
In 2013 Time Magazine wanted to experiment using a paywall and needed all the marketing collateral to go along with that. They also wanted some UX work done to make their reading experience more visual and improve home page retention. I worked within their design system to make bigger featured images on the post page, designed the "subscribe now" banner ads below and enhanced the "latest from our partners" section with bigger visuals. On the home page I did some exploration for the "More Top Headlines" section in the right sidebar.
In 2014 Fast Company wanted to present it's top 1,000 innovators in a redesigned, interactive way. Tasked with coming up with an highly visual user experience I helped create the look and feel here, worked on the filtering UX, and worked with a developer in communicating the physics of the hover effects.
In 2014 we worked on launching a multimedia platform named "Nationswell" created to help effect meaningful change and empower youth in America through publishing grassroots stories. We built a fully responsive site and an entirely new design system - the project went on to win two awards. I did everything from wireframes, brand development, and interaction design.
